View Full Version : Futaba FP-R309DPS synthesized reciever?

Was wondering if anybody has used the Futaba FP-R309DPS synthesized reciever? I've heard that it had some problems with glitching due to vibration. Is this true? Reason I ask is I just had a friend win one on ebay for $120.00. It's priced much higher I know. Can anybody advise? Thanks Curt.

Personally I would not use the 309 in a heli. I know a few that have had problems.
The newer 319 is what everyone I know that is using the synthesized rx is using.

I've heard that the reason is that the 309 used 'old construction' internally and it was all
a very tight fit inside the case.
the 319 uses much more modern circuit board build technique and technology

I have used the 309 in a mystar60 and gmp legend with no problems.
flew the legend everyday 20+ minutes for a few years.
