Have ya'll considered creating an SJM400 forum? Maybe I missed it... I know it's still fairly new to market, but I've got mine on the way and would love to find a consolidated place to read of others experiences.
sjm400.com has a forum dedicated to it solely. I've yet to ask MR about it over at RR... curious to see what kind of response I'll get (please no MR flaming), and well we all know how everything gets scrunched into one big rambling list over at rcg.
Thoughts?

Well, as I am trying to get more attention for this little bird, I personally don't see the point in a separate forum for it yet. So far there is only a couple of people participating in the SJM400 thread here.
As long as the thread is alive it will be on top anyway. We still have to see if this heli has the long term breath for a separate forum. Just my 2 cents......

Yeah, understandable. This'll be my first CCPM build and I'm a bit anxious to get it going. It's somewhere between ROC and here atm.
It can't be any worse than the Shogun V1, and look at it's longevitity

I got one too (from here (http://www.hobbyjapan2000.com/store/proddetail.php?prod=SJM400) - you may be able to get a cheaper one by search around in Google.com). Very nice build, but still waiting for my gyro to come to set it up. So do not fly it yet.

There has been some huge threads over at RCGroups about this heli, both the V1 and now the V2. Would be worth looking at if you havent already been there.

Hi Guys;
I too am very interested in this bird. I was looking at the V2.
Does the heli (SJM400) fly stable.
Is it worth considering over the Trex 450 which I am seriously look at as my next heli.
Hi Mantral,
The SJM is my first heli and I love it by now. ( I am an experienced RCglider pilot )
Begining was difficult because learning to hover with an agile bird like this is very demanding.
after 2 weeks a friend made this video of my flight
http://video.google.fr/videoplay?docid=-7619401826416315103
and today (2 month later) I am hovering on a dime, thinking "uh this bird is soooooo stable..." well except when I am hovering from front where it is still to agile...
I am having lots of fun with (540, loops, rolls...) but it's weak point is visibility!
cheers
Marcel
