I am trying to put a mix on one of my helis. I never tried this before. I went over the instruction manual and tried it on the bench with the heli on. The tx asks if you want all servos to hold, I press no and proceed.
When I start to make percent changes shouldn't the servos adjust to the changes, I can put in 100% in either direction with no movement. I just want to verify the inputs are the results I want.
I tried it first with code 65 one servo- aile to ele and watched the changes test flew it but nothing changed. Went to code 51, set it up and no sevo movement even after I pressed no " all servos hold". Now when I go back to code 65 I can get no servo movement either.
I tried this on 2 different helis with the same results. I went through the whole manual and can't find what I am missing.
Any thoughts? Tx not working right? My brain not working right?

I am going out on a limb here....... did you activate the mix? That's the only thing I can think of.

My understanding is that when you put in the channel numbers the mix is activated.
Is there more?

yes, you must tell it how you want to activate the mix. you can assign it to a flight mode, a switch, or have it on all the time, if my memory is correct. it may be on the second page of the mix.

Ok I have gone through the two pages of code 51 and assumed That was all there is to do. To confirm that everything is working on the bench, if I want to change the percentages, (say no to all servos hold), if I change the percents should I see movement in the servos?

Yes, if you change them enough. You may have to change a large percent to see if you are going in the right direction. Remember you have to activate it in whatever flight condition you want it to come on in. That is on the next page.

Tried it on the bench AGAIN, and no movement from the servos 0-100% and 0-
-100%. Went out to field test and did some mixing. It seemed to work good, a little neg. right ail and it straightened out. Still don't know why it doesn't work on the bench :?

Well, I don't either. Unless you are not in the right condition or flight mode you selected for the mix to activate in while on the bench. The good news is that you got it working in the air where it counts.
Did you use code 65 or 51? I can see my 41,42,43 and 65 working on the bench.

I tried code 65 and 51 a number of times on the bench and nothing. Don't know what I am doing wrong. It is probably something stupid and obvious that will dawn on me later.

Thanks for the help! :D
