What is the brand/heli to die for?
No such thing IMHO. Everyone has different wants/needs in a heli so one size does not fit all. Plus, you have to have built/owned/flown several Helis and be good enough to tell the difference to even KNOW what you want in a Heli to begin with. For a n00b most any modern Heli will see them right and get them into the Hobby. Once they are addicted they'll soon own enough Helis to make an educated buying decision down the track...
