I know I have seen it on here somewhere, someone had posted a picture or instructions on grinding out the old type fan for the new type dampners,
0546-16 (the hard ones), I just can't seem to find it anywhere.

Look up the MA Stratus manual for the conversion, it has the part number for the bit, and shows you what to do.
I should be back in Oxford midday, I can show you how to do it, takes about 15 minutes.
Bring the fan, dremel, and a bit..

Thanks Wayne, but I don't have the new dampners yet, I flew the SE today and didn't like the way the old clutch was acting so I am putting the other one I had back in it. Was gonna order a set of dampners and a new liner for the clutch bell tomorrow.

if anybody needs a fan hub modified , i would be happy to machine them for free, i have a jig setup for my mill takes about 5 minutes to do.

Got my dampners today, theres really nothing to modifying that fan, had it done in about ten minutes, now if I just had the engine reinstalled I would have it made.
