HDX Btty Placement

Hi gang,

Down to the wire now with the HDX build. I followed Bob's instructions for the electronics placement by placing the ESC on the port side of the bird and the receiver up front on top of the little platform forward of the motor. I am curious as to where and how to mount the btty. I want to use Thunder Power 1320's to power this heli. It is a fairly large btty and because of the way the forward landing skid attaches to the frame it does not allow the btty to be slung under the nose very neatly as with the Blade CP. Does anyone have any pics of how/where they placed it on their heli?

HI Dan,
I just got an HDX 300 last week. I am about done with the project but I too was not sure about batery placement. For now I am using the stock Blade CP Pro Battery but I am going to upgrade next month. How did you make out with the battery placement?

Here is how i put a TP 1320. Hook and loop under the bottom of the frame to keep it from sliding and some more thru and wrapped around the battery.
