servos getting warm with 3g

I noticed today the servo below the antirotation bracket on my trex 500 seemed a little warm compared to the other two. Not hot by any means. The servos are hs5245mg and they are on my trex 500 w/3g.I realize servo motor heat is nt transferred thru the case well so I don't know if they are hotter than I think. Is it normal for them to get warm? Just don't want to burn one out in flight. Thanks in advance. Scott

There are two factors IIRC:

1) There is more load on the servo with a FBL, the flybar is like 'power steering'.
2) The 3G is quite hard on the servos, but you may try turning down the gain?

Thank you for your help. Is it ok for servos this size to get warm? I know any warmth on the 9g servos is a death sentence.
