Guys these new FBL set-ups look really neat, but I can't help but wonder, Ok so the rx interprets your radio commands, then is sent to your V-bar (or what ever brand) where it also reinterprets, and then is sent to your servos. Hmmm. Seems like it would be nice to just buy the filmware for your radio, and save some weight, and wire mess by having another unit strapped on your bird. Todays radios are capable of all kinds of programmable mixing why not FBL.
EX:
Swash setup
120 3 servos
140 3 servos
90 3 servos
FBL ACT
Maybe this is in the works.:thinking

The processing needs to happen where the sensors are. On the other hand the RX (and separate wires for the channel signals) is not needed when the V-Bar (etc) can accept input from satellite receivers.

Yeah I kind of been tossing it around, I work on the river (barge work) which is frozen, so right now I can't afford much more the bills, but I do see this in the future. Maybe buy the time I get the funds FBL won't be such a new big hype, and the prices will come down. If the gov would go ahead and install a ground heater in the Mississippi river I might already have a FBL unit:YeaBaby:
