Do you set Pitch and Throttle Curves as per Align manual for Normal, Idle 1, Idle 2 or something else?
Is anybody setting some extra Flight Modes, like Idle 3, Idle 4?

i set all of my pitch curves to linear for all flight modes. 0-25-50-75-100. since i'm no 3D pro i only run +/-10 degrees of pitch. if i ran anything more i'd just bog the engine.
if you're not using a governor for throttle, the align recommended throttle curves are close for maintaining a good headspeed. the recommended throttle curves are a little bit high if i remember right.
if you're using the multigov like in your signature use the multigov recommended curves and set your own desired headspeed.

Here is a good video that Bob made about that Governor.

I saw all Bob's videos ( it's our Bible) , he recommends some different setting. The Align manual got some another parameters, therefore I raised this question.

I think it depends on your flying style, fuel.. I set 3 mode: normal, idle 1 and 2:
- pitch curves: hold, idle1 and 2 are identical (linear, from 0 to 100), normal: 25, 35, 45, 50 (above 50 is the same as other modes)
- thottle curves: normal: from 0 to 100 as default setting, idle1: 100-85-75-65-75-85-100, idle2: 100-85-80-75-80-85-100
i only use normal mode for taking off and just before landing. i don't use governor (but a multigov is on the way ;)). Idle 1 for most of the time
i'm happy with that because i prefer smoothly flying, however, when my friend use the heli, i think it's not powerful, even with idle2
My point is: it's your own choice

I'm surprised to see a throttle curve that high. I'm only running in my first 90 at the moment so don't have much experience but certainly on my 50, that Idle2 would have been a pretty high throttle curve. Do you know what kind of headspeed you are getting?

Yes, pretty high. idle2 headspeed around 2010 rpm (at zero pitch). My motor is an old 91SZ (2 years old), my pipe is Cutis MPII, coolpower 30% fuel

it all depends on your servo setup... setups vary and throttle curves will be different for everyone!
you MUST check headspeed with a tach even if you are running a gov. but, Multigov was always spot on for me when i used them
