The basic batt. and speed controller Century suggest should be fine.

Finless is working now to show you how to set it up and put it all together! http://www.helifreak.com/viewtopic.php?t=20990

When it comes to a poor man setup the Swift is perfect for using built up emoli battery packs instead of buying traditional LiPo’s. Hard to beat $100 for a 7S battery. The new Swift outrunner motors are designed for 4-6S. Basically the cells are $14 each.

Note these are not the lightest way to go but weight is not a big issue on the Swift so they fit right in your “PoorMans Setup”

where do you get the emoli's online? and do they need special charger? with enough money saved on the battery i might get myself a trex600....

You can buy premade emoli packs from www.bigerc.com

Or you can build your own packs with cells from www.m2energysolutions.com using instructions from www.swift-tuning.com/e-moli.php

Emoli's can be charged on lipo chargers, and balancers can be used. As long as your charger can handle the # of cells in the pack.

I'm looking into getting a Swift, and emoli's will be in my future. :) One of the new motors AV8TOR is talking about is the $80 Century 600 Plus (http://www.heli-world.com/detail.aspx?ID=8459). Specs say up to 6s, but there are people on rcgroups running 7s emoli's on this motor with no problems.
