Here are some prototype back braces that Mark made. It bridges the gap where the motor mounts. I added spacers underneath them so that it would clear the motor. I really didn't like having that gap back there, now MJP has another solution to make this heli even more solid.

I am glad that Mark is making all of these pieces to better the Lepton. I have all of his upgrades except the Main frame. I will hopefully get those soon.

Yea I agree! The frame striffener / repair kit is a god send... I have seen 2 Leptons crash and break the frames right where those stuiffeners go... GREAT way to save some bucks and repair the frame!
I just have not decided if I want to save them for later use to repair the frame if I crash and break the frame at the weak point, or use them now... Thoughts?

I went ahead and installed everything just to be safe. I need all the security I can get.
With all of the upgrades installed the frame seems stiffer and the overall feel of the heli is more soild and responsive but that is just my own opinion. :)

Not that I don't appreciate all these upgrades (I'm going to be purchasing almost all of them within the month), but in reality, they are just making another part of the heli the weakest link... and I'm scared to find out what breaks when the frame doesn't. :D

Any and every heli will brake if you crash hard enough. These parts are made to strengthen the weak points so that in minor crashes it will survive with or without minimal damage.

Here is a new pic with my new Kontronik Kora 15-10 motor. The braces now mount flush on the frame.
