With the SR just around the corner I thought it would much easier to keep track of all the pictures and videos that are soon to be swarming the forum.
I can't wait to see what folks will do with the SR and how they will customize theirs. I wonder who will be the first to bind the SR to another tx, slap on some carbon blades and video some 3D. The race is on! :YeaBaby:
I'm sure most of you have already seen the alternate new canopy already available but I'll post a pic anyway. It sure looks sweet!

I thought it only fair for this to be the first video since it's the first consumer unboxing video.

No vid, but pics of it virgin fresh outa the box. Gotta new Canon camera that will do HD, so vid's in the near future.
I really do like the look and size of this heli, I totally got excited when I first read about it online a few days ago, seeing it in person today at the LHS just sealed my doom.

Ah the inverted take off. Kyle Dahl was experimenting and quite successful with that on his Trex 450 pro, so with some guided help, the SR was able to do it as well :)

Do you know if the pilot was using the stock Tx on these flights?
I'm happy seeing these videos even if I'm nowhere near that flying level because it shows the SR can get me there. :)

I would highly doubt that was the stock transmitter

it says at the end of the video it was bound to a dx7, removed flybar weights and stock otherwise

I finally got my SR today and so far have found it to be a fantastic looking well built helicopter. :)
I had an extra pair of SuperSkids lying around and was curious to see if they fit the SR so I gave it a try. Well, despite being taller, longer and wider they do fit. Not sure if I completely like this look but at least I know they work. I'm thinking these might be good for a novice pilot seeing as how they are very flexible and a wider stance that might help with tipping.
Love it? Hate it? What do you think?

Thanks for the picture with the super skids. I just put them on my CPP2 and love 'em! What are the light blue rubber feet though?

Thanks, I've been using SuperSkids for the longest on my Esky heli's haven't broken a set yet. The blue rubber feet are SuperGrips. Here is the description from SuperSkids.
SuperGrips are a special silicon formula designed to last a long time even on rough surfaces like asphalt, but give a non-slip grip to carpet, hardwood or vinyl floors; or countertops and glass surfaces. These skid grips are made to fit SuperSkids, but also fit Align and other brand landing skids. They are small and lightweight, but they really grip and look great. One package includes 4 blue, 4 yellow and 4 black grips. If you like hopping from coffee tables to countertops, you need SuperGrips.
