The ferret died.

We don't know where they got that information.

I can't believe I burned my house down and nearly killed my family over not monitoring a lipo charge...please take this into consideration.

Yea, I never leave my batts unattended while they a charging. I also charge them in a lipo sack for extra security.

I'm living proof for the safety minded...otherwise you live everything..and pets and possibly people die...at least we got the dogs out, cat out, us out, and most importantly our daughter out...who still doesn't understand where her toys went.

Well the most important things were saved, you and your family. The other things can be replaced.

Sorry for your loss. How old is your daughter? I also have a daughter and might be able to help out with some cloths/toys. God knows she has enough. PM me, I would be glad to help.

sorry for your loss. Glad you and the family is safe. very sobering indeed. I never charge my lipos unattended and this backs that up. perhaps you can start a fund raiser or something. I'm not rich or anything but would like to donate something.

Sorry to hear about your loss. That is just terrible. I always monitor my batts while charging. Your loss has made me decide on safety first, as i will find or make a charging vault-or at least a lipo-sack.
Glad you are all safe.

I've asked Will James if this would be possible. ie set up a donation sticky with paypal or something...

Dr.D..

Check with your local Fire Department and see if they have a "after the fire" program. The department I work for does and it helps victims far beyond what the red cross does.

While all this sux, it is all replaceable glad to know that you guys made it out safe.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss!

What brand of battery and charger did you use? Perhaps we can learn something from this.

Man that's horrible. Will redouble my efforts as well. Glad your family is safe. Let us know what kind of things you could use. What were the favorite toys lost by your girl. Would like to help. Don't be afraid to let folks know what you lost and what you need.

Damn, I am really sorry to hear that. Any info you have regarding what you think happened is greatly appreciated. Was this during charging? Were you balance charging it? What brand battery and charger?

Sorry for the questions in this tough time, thoughts and prayers to your family.

Sorry to hear about the fire. I had a house fire myself a few weeks ago and lost everything. So I do know how you feel.
It possibly will take some time with insurance to get through everything. I got the car insurance settlement after 4 weeks and still am waiting for payments from my home owners insurance.
Nevertheless - good to hear you all made it out save. Stuff can be replaced.

im4711,

Unbelievable, was yours from a lipo fire as well? Sorry as well to hear about that. A fire is one of the worst things I could imagine happening.

Good luck getting back together. I am very sorry about your misfortunes. I have left work before because I couldn't remember if I unplugged my batteries.
