Blade cp pro tail not holding after brushless mod

Hi !!

I just installed the eflite brushless motor kit..it works well in hover but as soon as i give it throttle the tail doesnt keeep up anymore....and i have the g90 heading lock gyro as well....Any info would be great!!

How old is your TR motor?? Might just be getting tired...

Brand new..i just installed the dual tail motor today wich is a little better but still not enough and it threw off the center of gravity big time..

I also had to turn up the gain a little bit on the G90 after adding the brushless motor compared to the stock motor. It helped some, but the stock tail still can't hold on full power climbouts with the brushless motor.

I didn't have much luck with the dual motor tail on mine (also brushless on the main motor) but got pretty good results with the direct-drive setup with a GWS F50H motor and a 4340 prop cut down to 3.25" I do not have a gyro, but use a revo mix set up in my Tx and it holds pretty good for what it is..

does the direct drive hold good when you climb fast?
