Hey Guys,

I have a blade cp, tricked it out a little with a cnc head, and a twin tail motor unit, well tonight I also picked up a carbon fiber tail rotor. My issue is that when I push the two pins of my tail rotor into the drive gear it warps the gear so bad that the tail rotor tracks horribly untrue. I have played with it and have gotten a little closer but I was wondering if anyone out there had experienced this before and had a solution for me before I start grinding on my beatiful new tail rotor blade.

Thanks,

Mike

I have come across a similar situation with the tail drive gear. what i ened up doing was just reaming out the proper holes with a sharp knife just enough so it would fit with a small amount of resistance and would secure it with a drop of Thin CA on both sides. I know my CF tail blades were not correctly sized to fit the tailwheel. I hope this helps somewhat.

Have a good one.
