is there something we can do to get them to add the Trex(s) to G-3
Not really. Just making us aware of what you want is really enough. I have a pretty good idea of what most guys are looking for, but sometimes I just need a friendly reminder.
The big problem is that doing these things takes time. I've been wanting to put a Synergy in since last November. I have e-mails from Todd and Jason dating back to January. We still don't have a Synergy in game.
If there is someone out there who is able to use 3D Studio Max, they could make and distribute any model they wanted. There is a fellow named Tony UK that goes by the handle nemo_uk over on RR. He is very talented with Max, and made a Raptor 30 V2 [website (http://www.rfmodels.com/)]. If you could find someone like him to do it, you'd get it done a lot quicker. The problem is that guys with talent like that are busy.

Vitek,
With other sims coming out such as Phoenix, competition is going to get tough. I think the first company to have the Align family as part of their program would instantly make the decision between company A and company B a no brainer.
And would also generate new business for those people who already have a sim.
Just my two cents.

Each simulator out today has features that set it apart from the others. I don't personally believe that being the first to have an Align helicopter is going to make the decision a no-brainer. Most people consider more than just one factor when buying a product, and for many people it is not a deal-breaker when something the would like to have is not included.

If you had a sub-par product I would agree but you don't :). G3 was one of the top ones on my list at the time when I purchased. All I know is that for me it would have affected my decision to purchase because it would have put G3 on the top of my list like it did a few months ago when I was going to purchase but didn't have the money. I had an mx400pro at the time and G3 was the only one that had an official mx400 on their sim. Now that I have a trex 450se v2 I am almost back to square one except someone created an unofficial trex that used the mx400 as a base. The problem is that I want an official trex version that hopefully has been tested by knife edge and has the correct align motor(430L for se) and not a trex that a third party created that might not be quite right. I would be willing to pay for it.

Well said xStatiCa2,
If phoenix or the other one that just came out had Align helis, I would buy that sim today.
I happen to have G3 now and I love it, but I miss not having an official Trex and I can not get any of the homemade versions to work :arggg:
I think that G-3 is extremely powerful but extremely difficult to customize. I don't understand most of the edit options :dontknow to make a particular heli work the way my 450/600 work and I certainly don't have a physics degree... so please get us our Trex's.

G3.5 is now public: http://www.knifeedge.com/forums/showthread.php?p=63609#post63609
It seems the 3.5 beta is the same as the final version, so you won't need to redownload if you had the beta. Night flying sure is fun!
