View Full Version : Blade Grip Tightness?

When I am installing new blades, how tight should I make the blade grip screw? I am assuming I want it loose enough so they can adjust while spinning up.
Any rules of thumb anyone can offer?
I make mine snug. And by that, it's moveable if I try to move them with my hands but I have to use a LITTLE bit of force. However, if you hold the heli and violently shake it (don't break it) the blades should NOT move at all.
That's what I do.

mine are just tight enough that when they are extended if I turn the heli on its side they will not move unless I give them a little push. All 6 of my Helis are like that and I haven't had any problems.

Interesting. That is a lot tighter than I expected. Ill tighten them up. Thanks for the replies!
