I lost control yesterday while practicing hovering, and got it set down pretty softly, but with the training gear on it, it slid across the smooth concrete floor in the shop i was flying in...slid right into a chair, but just barely nicked the blade. The blade itself wasn't even damaged, but the plastic covering came off and I couldn't fly it.
I went the the LHS and got some new flat bottom blades and then this morning i adjusted the blade tracking, and really like the way the new blades work! I made it about 12 batteries without crashing, so I think I'm doing pretty good.
Oh and the best part! My wife was with me when I got the new blades, and I tried out the phoenix sim there, and she realized how much a sim would help me...so now I can get the Phoenix sim, but I can't find it in stock anywhere without the transmitter, anyone know where I can get a copy?
