Hey guys,
Just to share with you one of my mini projects, recently I was tasked by my friend to connect a cyclone transmitter with a usb interface and found that it's an 8-pin ps2 connector on the trainer port. After studying the circuitry, Ive found that the ps2 port does not have ppm out, instead it's a serial data output. In order to tap the ppm signal, I have fitted an additional 3.5mm mono socket to the transmitter and hard wired it to the circuit board coz' it is no where possible to get a ps2 plug. Anyway, I have successfully interfaced the cyclone transmitter with the usb interface from www.rcusbsimulator.com It works pretty well and now my friend's able to launch a few sims with his cyclone transmitter.
