Right, Laurens...
And why?
Because you can see it advertised all over the place:
A very capable helicopter, satisfying the needs of the competition pro's, but also quite tame and perfect for beginners...
Sirene goes off: I've never seen a Formula1-Car that was suitable for to learn to drive. And I've never seen an all-day-car in Formula1-Races...
You ask in the shop where one could fly such things:
Basically everywhere, on a field, in your garden...
Sirene goes off: What about frequency-control? What about passing on the required knowledge? Show the necessary little tricks? Either a long or painful way to go - eventually both if you use the hobby to enhance potency or something...
IMHO Those guys have been ripped off and had to pay big for it on one hand, on the other, our beloved hobby gets bad PR and someone got rich with that...
It's a sickness of todays "civilisation"...
You can stay at home and do things from the front of your PC.
Therefor you can't get to know the good warm fuzzy feeling when you're getting engulfed by other freaks...
No more social aspects of the hobby: Hobby is something you do for your own, sometimes even to enhance your image.
In the "old" times, you did it together with others for your recreation, you shared a passion for something...
Whatev'...
Cheers,
Daniel
