I bought a 6v receiver hump pack and charged it so I can start setting up my heli.

This morning I bound the ar6110e to my DX7 no problem and tested that all the servos worked. They all did, so I unplugged them all, then set up the elevator servo, sub trimmed it so it was parallel and powered down the system to try to test it again.

Well when I powered on the DX7 I got a "Warning F-Mode" beeping. Once I figured out what that was all about. I tried to get the system going and the red light on the Rx is flashing very quickly again.

I also noticed that the Rx got kinda warmish while plugged into the Hump Pack.

Now for the life of me I can't get the Rx to bind to the DX7 and the light keeps flashing. The light on the Rx flashes red, and when I try to rebind the DX7, the green light flashes for a bit and then goes out, so I assume it is rebound but no dice. Did I blow my Rx? I don't think I did because it still flashes, but it just won't bind. Help!!

Thanks a bunch.

Ron

With TX off, plug in the bind plug in the RX on the batt terminal, plug in battery power on another channel.

Does the RX light up and flash ORANGE fast?

Or is the HOLD LED flashing red??

If it flashes orange, move the TX a few feet away from the RX, and do the bind procedure, then power everything off. Unplug the bind plug, and try to power the RX and TX back up.

Make sure you never acciidently power up the TX while pressing the bind button on the back, if you do it will wipe out the "link" to the RX and you have to rebind.

Thanks Jason,

I tried everything and couldn't get it to bind. Went to my LHS and they said it is probably a bad receiver. I got my DX7 to bind no problem with the MsR so it really must be the Rx. The tip off was how hot it got and how the orange light wouldn't turn solid after binding attempts according to the guys at the LHS.

I called HH this morning and they think the Rx was bad so their sending me a new one :YeaBaby:.

Hooray for customer service!!!
