Just came in from a test flight of the new firmware w/calibration. Nice day here, slight breeze, Bergen was running great. Now all I've got to do is be able to hover steadily during calibration (dang tremors  ) However, just return the slider to off, hit the calibration again and bring in some gain...right back to a nice hover.
Updating was a snap, as usual. Didn't affect any of my previous settings. Nice feature addition is the lowest inflight voltage reading.

Now for the altitude hold

I just finally got the new software in all three of my AP-2000i units today. Amazingly, I somehow stumbled my way through figuring out how to program a "mix" to a switch in my 14MZ, so that I can use it to engage the cal function. :) I haven't flown it yet, but it seems to work great, playing with it on the ground.

I too can't wait for the altitude hold function. :)

just flew mine..... after a bit of touble getting the firmware updated (user error  ) I got it working.

Nice feature. Really cloudy day out here in AZ so hard to tell how well it's working, but does seem to make a difference.

Took me a bit to figure out how to use ch.9 on a switch to entr CAL mode but I've got her worknig great. Now, every single channel on my 9C is used and both side sliders and almost every switch has a function. Like flying a damn 747 now!

Yeah, that was fun... NOT! :arggg: The manual is worse than not useful. A reference book on open heart surgery would be more clear.

What I somehow ended up accomplishing was assigning one of the program mix slots to Switch "F", which is one of the long ones, on the top left in the back. With it off, and the gain slider all the way off, that channel reads -100%, which is "OFF" for the AP-2000i. With switch "F" on, it reads -110%, which puts the AP-2000i in the "CAL" mode.

On my 9C, I'm using switch F for the calibration also. I ran into difficulties because I was failing to assign the offset to the same aux channel. Once I realized that mistake I was in business.

My second test flight was with a much better pilot than I. Amazing how well it held post-calibration hover that time!
