hey,

i was wondering do i use loctite or CA glue on the bolt that holds the bell helier mixer arm onto the blade grips??

its just bin a while since i rebuilt/built an xcell... i just can't remember what i used.. both would work fine i guess!

CA will be fine =) but i don't use any, i just make sure ever flight i check it that's all

Thick CA on the thread, just enough to cover the thread.
Wipe excess off 1st before threading in.

Never used anything to secure the bell mixer bolt on the plastic grips. But I guess some CA on the threads would not hurt anything. Haven't seen any bolts threaded into plastic back out from vibration. If they do, usually the hole is stripped and the bolt will just slip out.

i dont know is it true anot, but i somehow find that LOCKTITE is like acid, i accdently drop some on my keyboard, the next day that part 'melt' with one small hole :dontknow so i think best not to use locktite

Your correct. Loctite and plastic parts do not work together. There is a loctite that is made especially for plastic. It is basically an epoxy type product.

thanks guys, i used a bit of thin ca just on the bolt, and then for the nut on the back just a little bit of blue loctite.
