My failsafe on my RX that came with my 9CHP seems to "forget" it's settings after the RX is turned off. To make my RX remember it's setting, I just have to goto the F/S screen, then my RX remembers. This is a pain because before every flight I have to goto the F/S screen. Is this normal?

Curt,
The RX is updated with the failsafe settings from the transmitter every few seconds. If you have the F/S settings setup in the transmitter correctly you should only have to set them the initial one time. Turn the transmitter on first, then turn on the receiver. Wait about 30 seconds. Then if you have the throttle set to failsafe to idle, run the throttle all the way open and turn off the transmitter. The throttle should then close when the transmitter is turned off. It will take approx 1 second for the failsafe to take affect.

The failsafe information is sent

1. When the transmitter is turned on
2. When the settings are changed
3. At the start of every minute while the transmitter is on.

By the time you have started your engine, carried the heli out to the pad, and spooled up the receiver will have received a failsafe update.

My fail safe is work now. But for two days, it was "forgetting." Now I'm going to probably check it before the first flight of the day just to make sure.

Thanks everyone
