Hi,

It seems I will be assembling a Sectra-G shortly, so I downloaded the manual and have been studying it. I hope it is OK to ask assembly-specific questions here. Please let me know if it isn't.

I have a question concerning #0324 spacer rings in the very begining of the manual (Step 3: Installing the Main Axle and Blade Mounts).

The "B" section in that step says,
Adittionally, the #0324 thrust bearing spacer ring will be utilized as a tool to concentrate the pressing force only on the outer ring of each bearing...

While I understand the reason for this (avoid pressing against the bearing inner race or its shield), it is not immediately clear if the spacer is used only as tool (and removed after the bearing is pressed into place) or if it should remain in place as the assembly continues. Drawing 1C shows the exploded view with the #0324 spacer alligned with other components, suggesting it is in fact part of the assembled components, not exclusevly a tool.

I just wanted to make sure, before I start building. Thanks for any input.

Regards,
Bruno.

They remain in place. Dave

Thanks Dave.
When assembly actually starts, I'm sure I'll have more questions.

Best,
Bruno.
