Hello everybody.I am saving up for a Ion-x.The Ion-x is seems like it is going to end up costing me a pretty penny :arggg: I am going to get a t-rex 450se but that isn't going to make me save up so I really want to know about the Ion. I used to fly glow planes and I have a glow truck (revo 3.3) and a glow buggy (xtm xlb) so I really have no idea when it comes to electric.I want to know what works what is user friendly what is the most versatile and what last.I am going to go with the evo 20 5s1p 3700's if they are still the best when I get the heli and I already have a jr 10x so my questions are how many chargers do I need to charge two packs at the same time?what charger would you reccomend and why?Why is only one or 2 chargers needed?how many ballancers are needed? What ballancers would you reccomend?I would like to get a flight data logger which one would you recomend?I have heard alot of talk about the two stage gears failing.Should I just go with single stage?I heard the 32-3 is the most powerful?I am a newb when it comes to electric so bare with me please. All help is appreciated.

seeing as your probably not needing a hell alot of power,
you would probably want to purchase the kit called Power setup, this comes with the Hacker C50 motor and 77 hacker speed controller,

you would want a good charger, and a Balancer to suit what battery packs your going to purchase, if you are going to be using the flightpower evo 20 batteries they have a specific little balancer which works off the power of the battery and are great little units

ok onto batteries, with batteries the best bang for buck would be the Flightpower evo 20 3700mah 5s1p packs, and you would want at least 4 to have a bit of fun as one flight then charge is gonna tick you off a bit.

i wouldn't go over 710 blades, use 690 mah/vblades/mscomposit etc are all good blades.

thats some of the information i have learnt :) and i still haven't flown it AHAHAHA

Well I figured the price out and man is it expensive!wouldn't be so bad if the chargers and batteries did't cost so much.I will have to save alot for this one!

the Evo20's are a hell of alot cheaper than the other batteries, which is good for people just getting into the electrics seen(me) lol..
