What is the best economical charger?
What're you planning to fly? (ie how many cells does it need to charge)?
I personally would not advise choosing a lipo charger based on price.
I don't know squat about most of the chargers out there, so I can't give you any solid advice. I bought what I did because there was a very short list of charger/balancer combos that could do what I wanted and this seemed the closest thing to bulletproof....but it may well be overkill for someone who's flying 400s and 450s.
If an extra $20 or $50 is going to sway your charger decision, consider the cost of a detonated battery.

Don't go cheap on the charger, it'll cost you in the end.
If I were buyng today for a 3S/4S setup then I like the eStation-BC5 or the CellPro4S. If you think you might be heading for larger eHelis in the future (eg T600/eRaptor = 6S and above) then the market leader is TP1010+balancer.
Personally I have a SwallowAdvance charger (similar to Hyperion EOS-5i) and SJ-LCB5 (similar to Hyperion somethingorother) balancer which are easy to use and work well for me.
