I have the JR 9303 Tx and the GY401 with 9254. On the travel limits on the Tx I have it set to 95% and on the gain I have it set at 90% is that normal? I have no wag and the tail seems to hold well but are the settings ok that high. I have been flying the Trex and I couldn't get the gain above 65% and now with my Lepton I am running such a high gain. Normal or not?

You can probably set the gain to 100% without a wag. But setting the gain high is just wearing the servo out quicker. It is best to turn the gain down till the gyro just starts not to hold the tail. Then turn it up about 15-20%. This will normally end up in the 40% to 60% range.

Thanks David. I was just wondering because I this was the first time I was able to set the gain at 100% and not have any wag.

Gain depends on electronic gain which you are messing with as well as mechanical gain such as servo arm length, and tail blade length, chord, and stiffness.
