There are two options that I can see.
#1 is to upgrade to the eflite 2 in 1 and seperate gyro and rx. I haven't tried it so I'm not positive if it's going to work. I have the parts on order and can probably let you know next week. ( you can use the rx out of the stock 4 in 1 but I plan to try and sell the 4 in 1 complete to help ofset the costs of the upgrade.)
#2 is if you use brushless. I found this picture I'm attaching in another thread about 3 or 4 pages back in this forum. It appears to show how to use a brushless main motor with the stock tail motor and 2 seperate Speed Controllers for them. If you read many other posts though it seems that with a stock tail and brushless main you end up with the tail not holding even with a HH gryo cause it aint strong enough.

a) where to get the tail ESC
b) how do you get it to arm, or is it special and wil arm at any "throttle" position?
Thanks.

I called eflite and they said a 5 amp speed controller would be plenty.

Got me??
