I have a Trex 450X that I am currently flying. I am still in the learning phases.

I have the opportunity to get a Hirobo Shuttle Challenge, with an OS .32 Engine and most of the parts and equipment.

Because the machines are so different in size/and more, will it help or hinder my learning?

There are many local folks I can go to for engine questions and help there. So that is not an issue for me.

Just looking for feedback and advice.

if the price is right, go for it.
20 + minutes of flying per tankful is hard to beat, even though it won't have to power to weight ratio of the trex.

There is always help around. I know there is a club just north of melbourne off 95.
I can remeber the name, but I went to a swap meet there a few years back.
I think we have chatted in chat room about it before. If you need help feel free to just ask.

kewl I think it is being purchased. The guy who is selling it is local. So, my wonderful boyfriend will be going to pick it up once we hear from the guy. This is my Christmas present!!!! WOO I am so luck!

I think it was decided its going to be a while what with IRCHA SE in Georgia, Mulburry and Miami coming up in the next few weeks.

When is the event in Mulberry? That is not too far for me about 2.5 hours or so. I am having my folks visit from Colorado for the next two weeks and then my local club IRKS (IRKS.org) is having a fun fly the weekend of November 4th.
