Bert. I will be attending for Flight Power!

Should be fun..... I will be allowing people to use some FP backs to demo.

Any others in the SoCal are attending?

Bob,

We've distributed over 200 flyers with good response. All fields are invited. We've dstributed to Apollo, Carson, Skyhawks, Mark Middle School (Walt Ferrar), Gridley (spelling?) and Robins field. This wknd will be doing some more San Bernardino Fields. Also Damian (OCHC) is coming out with his crew.

The flyers also went to the following Hobby Shops:
- Robins Hobby
- MTA
- eHobby House
- Zooms
- Tony's Hobbies
- Pegasus

It's been posted to all major forums and the news media will be coming out for coverage as well.

So yes, we're expecting a good turn out.

Please check out the updated website -> http://www.socalrotorchallenge.com
for some ineresting updates.

I don't see any fees to fly.. Is AMA membership all that's required?? Any place to park a truck/travel trailer if I want to spend the night?

If I can make it up, Bob, think you can buddy box me on the 600/450??

Welp, the 600 *WAS* going to be ready, but the [insert your favorite insulting term here]s at work have had me runnin' my ass back and forth to the air cargo facilities at LAX all week and I've barely had time to eat, much less work on the heli. I've got to go back up AGAIN tomorrow and who knows when I'm going to get home. Not sure if I'm going to bring the 450 or not. I dunno if I can register on-site or not.

Bert,

I gotta tell you your inverted 500 flight during the national Anthem was pretty sweet. I had to laugh out loud when you flew in from the North upside down...
