Sometimes the tail gear (the one at the rear) at the tail boom moves up away from the gear that drives the tail rotor and there's nothing that causes it to happen. I pull it back so it engages with the rotor gear again and it will stay that way for a while. I've checked up front where it engages the main gear and all that is tight. I haven't had it in the air very much because I'm afraid this will happen and I'll have a bad crash. So, has anyone had this problem and found a fix for it?

First I've heard about it... Take you some CA and put a drop on the shaft. That should hold it and still let you change gears when you need to.

I figured out what was going on. The tail casing that has the fin attached to it was loose so I tightened the screw and that took care of it.
