Will this combo fly safely? I'm not an extreme 3D'r but I can do basic loops, flips, piro's, etc.

I had a set laying around and the stock plastic blades are just so flexible. The 95's are CF Mavrikks.

Thanks!

Jeanette

Depends on
1. What dampeners
2. Flying style
3. Who you ask.

I wouldn't run more than 92mm, the sabs are great.

Hmmm...I remember having blue dampeners installed from my initial build, I'm not aggressive at flying...I was concerned about the "flex" of the main rotor disc meeting up with the T/R. I'd rather err on the conservative side and not try it, but these 95's only looked like they were a few mm's more than the stock plastic blades.

Thanks Andy!

I m using blue dampers, 610mm blades, and 95mm tail blades..but with new TITAN gears

With a titan boom?

yeah, if you're using a titan boom, you also gained a few mm's there. :(

I'll just stick to stock and order up a pair of tail blades that are the right size.

Thanks for the knowledge!

With 92mm there is no chance of hitting the main rotor.
With 95mm there is a possibility of contact, if all conditions of pitch and cyclic input, flight attitude and setup of the heli just happen to fall right.

Some people get away with it because their setup and flying style do dot push in the right direction for a hit. Others are just lucky. But Luck always runs out sometime or other.
