My lipo puffed, anything I can do?

Well I have a Dynam Vortex 37 Coaxial Heli
I bought a spare battery for it which worked for a couple runs.
I went to go use the battery that had been previously charged the evening before. when I picked it up the pack was slightly swollen and soft.
Anything I can do to get my $20 worth back
would checking the voltage be bad??

It is a 2s 800mah 10C battery that i charge on the charger that came with the heli

believe me you DONT wana risk having a bad Li battery around your house.. get rid of it in a safe way as soon as possible.. i'v seen videos of these things igniting and exploding!! scary stuff. even a 2S battery can do great damage.

What the hell is happening??
Today I went to pick up another of my lipos of the same kind for my heli and it is also puffed up
It was in the exact situation as my previous lipo that puffed
I recharged it before I went to sleep (not while im sleeping) I take it out and put it on the table and go to sleep, now this morning its puffed
It was fine when I took it off the charger

Get an ammeter and make sure it is truley charging the pack at 1C. For the pack you mentioned that would be 800ma.

Also, Never leave Li-Po batterys lying around the house. Damaged or not it's just too risky. It's summer now so ALL my li-pos are sitting in my fireplace with the doors shut when they are not in my heli.
