Hey guys im in need of some more help here. Im completely lost as to what is going on. Im done with the rebuild, and i was just trying to finalize my radio setup. Now when i got it back together i had no Collective Throttle mix. I then had to go into one of my three mix selections which i never had to before. Now im trying to set my pitch range and My Throttle Curves are changing my pitch which is do to my mix im assuming. What am i doing wrong or what did i leave out. Im sure this post is very vague but i don't know very much to give you guys a good explanation. Also i made Zero radio changes post crash.

Any help is always appreciated.

Thanks.

Here is a great cheat sheet on the 8103 to either find the mix problem or doa quick "new heli"

Thats a good " cheat sheet " , but it assumes a 1/2 stick ,ie centre stick . hover point in normal and idle up modes , except 3D...
Most pilots , here anyway, hover at 3/4 stick , with a -10, 0 , +10 pitch curve in all modes .... basically means theres no pitch change when you change flight modes , so no " jump about " from the heli.. Also allows autos in any mode , should the motor stop , saves having to think about flicking switches .... it also gives you the same pitch " feel " above and below hover position ....

It does require a different throttle curve in " normal " mode , with 1/2 throttle setting to be at 3/4 stick position ................

I set radios up this way for newbies too , with a pitch curve of -1, 0 ,+10 in normal mode, 0 at centre , and increase the negative as they get confident ....

Peter -

I also prefer the way you state above - 10 0 10 keeps you out of trouble... usually.

I then modify my pitch curves to suit me, like steep slopes around the middle for quick response at 0 and axial rolls that are really smooth

Haven't tried changing the setup at 0 , but I think I like the sound of that , I'll try it, on the F3C machines anyway ....

Never stop learning with this hobby ,, thats why it's so good !!!

Thanks ..... :noteworthy :noteworthy
