Can anyone tell me the differences? What does $70 difference b/w cf and g10 buy? Is the CF lighter? How does the G10 stand up to abuse?
I'm assuming the Silver is still G10. I understand the durability and energy dissipation of CF, just wondering if anyone regrets their G10.
Also, anyone running the Scorpion ESC? I see a lot of horror stories about the HW ESC. What would recommendations be for ESC on 6s?

I got the G-10... it's a featureless black FG material.. it's very nice actually! Unsure about the weight but it can't be that much more.
I run the ICE 100.. many do.

G10 is UGLY (unless it is orange), it's a shiney blackish greyish blueish material. It is not as stiff as CF as it has alittle more flex to it, but its uber cheap to buy. I always buy the CF kits because my kits are shown off at FFs, but i buy G10 spares :)

I always buy a spare frame kit when i bought the new kits, if i had to buy another frame set now i would get the orange.

I used to hear alot of horror stories about the scorpions like 2 years ago, i don't know what they're like now but i don't really know of anyone using them now either :confused:

Funny you say that, I haven't heard anything about scorpion esc's for a long time. Can't be any worse than CC's rep. or align rep. for that matter. As long as scorpion doesn't put bearings in their esc's, they should be fine:)

Scorpion is fine. Just do not use the built in bec.

You gotta think positive, if the Scorpion ESC's BEC burst into flames at least the toasted frames wont look any uglier :)

Wow. So basically there isn't an esc that hasn't gone up in smoke?
