I am looking for the best TREX model for G3. I have two (T-Rex_450X_04_12_05.plnG3, and lite version). Both have problems. G3 cannot find the correct battery and/or motor and selects a default. I am concerned that I am not getting a realistic flight. Does anyone know how to solve this or know of better models?

I don't know how well it flies compared to a real trx, as I don't have a trex but I did get round the problem of the battery. I just edited the model in G3 and chose a LiPo that it recognised from its list of available batteries. Works fine now.
