Duralite gone bad. (Rx 4000mah)

it seems that the circuit board is fried or something, as I cannot charge the battery throught the yellow charging lead. i cannot even detect the voltage of the battery using that lead also.

however, I know the battery itself is fine because the black connector (the one supposed to be connected to the regulator) reads the voltage very well..

my question is, can I charge the battery using the black lead? (i doubt it anyways as its not connected to the circuitry of the battery).

You can, but you'd be better off calling or emailing Duralite with the problem.
Treat it like any other lithium battery while you wait on a replacement.
