Got a busted hub that the tail drive gear bolts to(the big gear)part #2732.
Orderd a new one and it is diffrent. Looking at another heli it should have a metal ring around the part were the bolt goes through it.
Anyone have a newer kit that can get me the part number for the ring?

That does not make sense. I run the #2732 as well. I just wrecked my first one as well, I think it happened from my last crash though. It is all plastic as well, no metal at all around hole or nothing, I have not heard of one with metal ring to be honest.... . After reading a similar post on another forum it would actually be a REAL GOOD idea if this were metal though!! The entire hub itself all metal would be very good idea imho

I emailed Volker, see if he can whip some up, I'll let you know!

Hello Jon,

I'd like to sort this out for you. The hub on the left is longer and the original one. In the next version of LOGO 14, we had to shorten this hub to make more room for the then popular battery packs. In a further version we made this hub from aluminum. So now this part is an alu part and shorter than the first version. (Of course we had to shorten the rotor shaft too.)

Greetings,

Ralf Buxnowitz

Hi Jon and Shawn, my knowledge of logo's is limited but growing fast. :)

I ordered some spare parts just to have on hand about two weeks ago from John at Readyheli and this metal 2732 was included. It looks like it has the same part number as the plastic one.

U got me curious so I went and dug out the order to make sure where/when I got it. I've ordered some stuff from FXA as well when RH was out of stock. It was RH, ordered 9/13th. Maybe the vendors will have both for a while.

Hello there -
Of course when we make a small change it can mean that some dealers will still have a previous version for sale. That is unavoidable in the real world. For those who bought the LOGO 14 recently and received part no. 2732 in plastic, they can send request one from Mikado by email.

Best regards
Ralf
