Here are a few pics of the Actro set-up. Remember this video was shot at 4500' elevation at 90+ degrees which would put our density altitude somewhere around 7000'. Not bad power for that elevation!

Eric,
That was AWESOME. The motor sounded very nicely loaded the ENTIRE flight. No bogging at all that I could hear.
Looks and sounds like just the ticket for the ION. :D

Yeah Mike, we filmed that in a hurry and it was almost dark...had my wife video it and it was her first time trying to follow a heli  I was in such a hurry I forgot to turn off that auto focus :arggg: Some different Thunder Power 8000's from Jason today that are supposed to be lighter. Gonna try those this weekend. Mike, the cells do have spacers between them as that is how Flight Power makes them. Pretty cool idea...no pun intended. Makes it a bit tough to fit under the canopy however.

hey , cool video , that sounds just like my 32-4 on 13s3ps , I think the torque is alot better than the hacker , the one thing that make it a concern though is twisting shafts , 5mm , and also make sure you check your coupling hub on the motor , screws work loose sometimes , but other than that its cool

Duralite Plus displayed the Flight Power batteries they will be distributing at IRCHA.
These were nice looking packs just like the pictures posted above. There was 3 versions of the batteries displayed, 3s2p, 4s2p,5s2p. There will also be more configurations available. I do not know what price the batteries will sell for at this time. Duralite I believe will have the batteries available in a couple of weeks.

They are some awesome looking and feeling batteries. :) Airspace between the cells and every dang thing. They looked tough as nails with the carbon protector plates or whatever they are, and really high-tech/high engineered.

I have no idea of the price, and I don't remember hearing anything at IRCHA.

Call Jack at Duralite and see if the price is set yet.

(these pics are from camcorder, so they could be better, sorry)

All the pricing and information will be available later this week or early next week. I talked to Rachelle today and she will send me all the information as soon as they get it all together. I will post on here about the pricing and pack configurations.
