I just got one of these LCD panels for my Micrologger.
Any idea if you are supposed to remove the clear plastic film that has been put over the panel?
Shipping protection to be removed or panel protection to stay on?

I'd leave it one until it starts to peal on it's own.

Do not take off the plastic wrap it protects the screen from scratches and liquids. Been vary happy with mine you can use it as a voltage checker also.

Bill at Eagletree did get back to me this morning with their recommended info.
It seems that the Eagletree manual will now be updated with the `leave the heatshink plastic on `answer.
A bit confusing as some photos of the panel around do show it with out it..
