My name is Nevil and I too am very new to the Hobby. I'm not too bad at flying my Msr, my Novus CX's second 5in1 board is fried....I think, Novus FP is still a bit of a challenge and I'm just plain scared of the Belt CP when it starts winding up. That one can stay shelved until the Novus FP is down pat. I look forward to all the advice and help I can get from you all in the future.

Regards.

Hi Nevil and welcome to HeliFreak. CP's sure can be scarey if you are still learning to fly heli's. Definately stick with an FP until you can hover tail, nose and side in. Then move on to Forward flight and fast forward flight, starting with simply circuits, nice and slow. I wouldn't move on to a CP until you can fly an FP around without crashing. If you haven't got a heli sim then buy one, the best one you can afford. Pheonix gets great reviews.

Learning to fly a heli takes practice, practice, and more practice, and plenty of patience. Your brain is learning with every flight so, even though you may think you aren't progressing, you are. Keep at it and you will get there. The fact heli's are so hard to fly makes it so rewarding when you can
