One thing that these mixers do for the heli is provide more mechanical pitch range. I observed 27 degrees.

Keep in mind - these mixers were made for testing only, and as such - do not represent what the final version may or will look like. The only requirement was for a structurally sound piece of metal we could test to try the new geometry. Expect whatever the end result is to look just as nice if not nicer than the TT upgrade part.

Ive had a chance to fly over 2 gallons on the mixers so far. Very impressed.

This video was taken this past weekend. Despite high winds the heli was remarkably stable.

The new mixers allow a larger overall pitch range. They also add precision to cyclic response, and further equalize collective response between positive and negative pitch. Crisper and more precise stops/starts. Faster cyclic for same given swash travel.

For those that encounter any shuddering in the Raptor rotor head, these mixers/dampeners take care of that.
