I need help guys, I dont know what's going on but my motor and esc are getting HOTT!!! Were talking 5-6 minute flight time, no 3D, just sport flying and bouncing around. When I bring her in motor temps 175-180, ESC 150-170. I'm running 2200mah 20/25C lipos. Stock 430SP motor, 12T pinion, and 30A ESC. Throttle curve is 50,75,85,100. Idle 1 100,95,85,95,100.
I'm thinking I'd either benefit from a 40A esc or finding a 11T pinion. But I can't seem to find a 3.5mm 11T pionion for this motor. Any help would be awsome. I know these Align motors run better at higher RPM and I've noticed lower temps when I play with the throttle curve but it should be this way. Maybe new motor? Ideas?
