I was just wondering if it's possible to easily modify standard factory rotor blades to be used in the precision metal blade grips now becoming available for the Blade CX?
After fitting my CX with several anodized aluminun replacement parts,I'd really like to fit these parts on my CX, but I have so many extra standard blades on hand, plus the fact that the special blades aren't available locally, that I can'y really afford to swich systems. I've heard the factory blades can be cut off and drilled to use with these grips. What's the scoop here? :?

I say drill em and hook em up. whats the worst that could happen? The cx survives alot of crashing even if it doesn't work.

Problem is, I don't want to go out and spend the $50+ to buy the precision grips, do the tedious installation and only then discover that standard blades won't work!
