Ive got several questions about the appropriate distance crowds should be away from you and your heli. Of course you don't want people or kids within I would say 10 feet or so but what is the maximum distance away would make you comfortable
I also wanted to know what is the best distance to be away from your heli when starting it up 10, 15 or........feet.

10' is not enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
25 is more like it.
Give yourself enough room to realize something is wrong, react and run.

AMA Safety Code states no closer than 25 ft. Except in competitions where the maneuvers require the model to be closer.
