Will the new Blade CX2 have big-time improvements over the current CX? Has anyone heard just when we'll see it? What's the point in having so much higher radio frequency? Why does this only require 4 AA cells instead of 8?

It uses a new spectrumized radio. No glitching, no interfernce.... although I dont know if this was much of a problem before with the CX. Good feature though... I love my spectrumized radio :D

Yeah the dsm radio sure is a nice feature, the canopy looks nice too. Supposedly the 4 in 1 is better performing. I would like to see some aluminum on the heads, as they are a often broken item. Also a shortened flybar that doesnt cause blade strikes. I guess thats what the aftermarket is for. I love my CX, over a year old and still flying well, although the motors are getting a bit worn out. Mods have made it a pretty good little bird, even flyable in a slight wind.

I hope the new 4 in 1 will be available so I can "spektrumize" my CX. Already have a DX6 that I use for my Trex among other things. Would be nice to just swap out the 4 in 1 and use the DX6 with my CX!

I wonder if E-flite has actually went the extra mile and finally either fused or somehow made the 4-in-1 unit resettable so they don't burn out so easily if the rotors somehow get accidentally stopped with the throttle still on? Maybe sales of thes little $50 parts are too lucrative to give up?

It is my understanding that the DX6 will not work with the CX2 but the DX7 will.
