Since i installed the eflite brushless main motor i am having constanlty tail problems there is too much torque and it does not compensate enough.I have a g90 hh gyro with a thunderbird 9 from castle creations.I installed a brushless tail motor with direct drive. It does not compensate enough. As I give thottle slowly its fine to go into hover but as soon as i give it a littel more to go higher the tail does not keep up and turns...even with the rudder stick on my controller the tail does not come back..i have tried the gain in all kind of settings and nothing works..is it the speed controller that is not good enought or maybe i should get the feigo motor?

Help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Derik

The proportional mixing is turned off with the G90 gyro installed. When you give throttle to the main motor, no proportional power is given to the tail motor anymore. The tail only runs when giving rudder input or when the gyro is compensating power from the main motor.

What kind of head speed are you getting with the mains? You may be out torquing the tail and need to reduce the pinion. Also, try a smaller or even trimmed prop on the tail to increase speed.
