What servos should I use I want to spend as little as possible. I have 2 futaba s3151 they are not designed for helis but is there any reason they wouldnt work? Im thinking the futaba s3151's on elevator and rudder, s3004 on cyclic? Will that work im not looking for balistic 3d out of this heli but if i decide i want to i will upgrade the servos. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks in advance.

I have a Hawk Pro with the inexpensive S-3151 digitals on the Elevator, Aileron and Throttle, with a higher torque, dual BB servo (S-9252) on the Collective, with the 401/9254 for the tail rotor. It now has almost 200 flights and is a very agile and quite potent 3D heli.
For your application you say S-3151 on Elevator and rudder (no mention of Gyro) with an S-3004 on cyclic (?). As "elevator" is one of the "cyclic" controls (fore/aft cyclic), I must assume that the 3004 mentioned is for the other cyclic (aileron - roll cyclic). So it seems a bit confusing as to what you are really planning.
How many S-3151's do you have?
What gyro/servo combo are you planning to use?
I would reserve the S-3004 for the throttle. If you have 3 x S-3151 then use one on the Collective, one on the aileron (roll cyclic), and the other on the elevator (fore/aft cyclic). Then get a 401/9254 combo for the rudder.
Nice paint job - what paint did you use?

The best you can afford. You can go as cheap as a standard plank servo, but they don't center well, don't have lots of power etc.....
JR 4131's are great entry level servos that are analog, precise decent power and they last.

Yes you are correct Rav50. I only have 2 s3151 so i figured it would be best to have them on rudder and elelvater, and the s3004's on aileron. For gyro im going to use a csm just an enexpensive gyro for now that came with the heli. Thanks guys
