All,
Came across this helmet cam in a magazine, ATC-1000 (http://www2.oregonscientific.com/shop/product.asp?cid=18&scid=71&pid=560). Anyone think this would work well for sport filming on a Trex-450, 600, and Raptor 30? The demo footage looks good. Not sure about focus distance. Not looking to turn out anything professional, just get a different perspective on my flights. TIA.

51 looks at last count and not one person can give an opinion?!?!?!? Maybe y'all are laughing too hard at the cam, but give me some feedback. TIA.

looks pretty cool. I didn't see any footage "from" it. I did notice the 2000 model (with 30fps instead of 15) for just 30$ more I'd go for it if I was going to get one.

It's a fun little cam, but not very high res. I believe GimbalFan picked up a couple of them. My recollection is that it's very similar in video quality to the CVS video cams. I'm almost certain it uses a CMOS chip.
The biggest problem with the CVS cam is that it's extremely sensitive to vibration. If the ATC has the same problem you'll have to do a very good job of isolating it. I did manage to overcome the vibration problem on the CVS cam. Maybe Gimbalfan can tell us if the ATC shows that same weakness.
Here's a little video from the CVS cam. I believe the ATC is very similar.

Thanks for the input. I'll take all this into consideration.
